Wii Fit
June 10, 2008
I decided I was going to seriously drop the lbs and my best place to start is with the Wii Fit. When I first tried Wii Sports, I just about threw my shoulder out playing bowling so for me trying Wii Fit is a bit intimidating. (I like the notion of having my sweat-fest in the privacy of own home.) With this new found vigor in exercise, I bravely weighed myself on the balance board and began my ‘routine’. I found the intensity very low (even for a non gym goer like myself) and easily unlocked another level. So I moved on to the Yoga exercise and felt I was receiving the intended benefits.
Overall, Wii Fit is fun but I know it will not replace my occasional craving for going outside to take a brisk walk or even jog. Nintendo is indeed innovative in capturing the couch potato demographics and I have a feeling along with this success in self-improvement, I wouldn’t be surprise if Nintendo isn’t on the drawing board already developing “Wii Kama Sutra” designed to jumped start the libido. Could you imagine how many views that would get on You Tube?

Hey thanks for the semi-review. I’ve been thinking about purchasing a Wii Fit myself. <– Couch potato-tv watcher max here. I don’t like to sweat in public either and my usual walking is just getting old as heck. It was more enjoyable when my cattle dog was by my side ::: sniff::: but he is gone now.
