Hillary Clinton (she could be the next Sec. of State)

Hillary Clinton could be the next Secretary of the State…pop quiz who will she be replacing?  and if she gives up her democratic seat in the senate then who would take that seat?  As we likely get nearer to cabinet appointees, the democrat seat ranking could be potentially not reach it’s goal of 60 seat.  Meanwhile, can somebody tell me what’s up with Lieberman’s “personality swings”.   Don’t we have medication for this condition?   Somebody needs to hand this man a needle and a yarn and teach him usefull skills like knitting.  Or better yet introduce him to Paris Hilton apparently she’s on the quest for a new BFF they both share an uncanny trait of ‘personality transparencies’ they’d make a good pair.  The new Rocky and Bullwinkle!  Did anyone saw the G20 Meeting in the news?  A possible new Asian currency is in discussion to stabilize our erratic global econmy.  Stay informed and reaserch this:  Amero if you haven’t heard about already.

To offshore drill or not offshore drill that is the question

During the election of 2008, I heard the Republican Party in a frenzy screaming “Drill Baby Drill!!!.”  This was the mantra that echoed in Sarah Palin’s VP’s speech and her and the Republican party’s words left me broken.

I am oppose to off-shore drilling for simple reasons:

1.     Off-shore drilling will not significantly affect me financially.

2.     The environmental risk by far out weighs the benefits the State would receive.

3.     Off shore drilling will only postpone the inevitable solution, which is alternative energy.

As I raise my concern, offshore drilling in the Virginia coast is moving forward with the push of the current Bush Administration.  I can’t say democrat Tim Kaine had no role on this issue he supported the bill back in 2006.  Currently, 50 miles offshore in Virginia is being considered for offshore oil and natural gas exploration. In North Carolina ocean waters, they are pushing for 100 miles offshore but Virginia will set the standard.

In closing, I want to say that I love the ocean.  I love the gifts the ocean bestows to families, my friends and me.  When the day comes that my husband and children cannot surf or swim or I can’t jog on the beach because of environmental issues caused by offshore drilling, yes I will be angry.  The vision of black slick oil accompanied by lifeless sea creature washing on shore isn’t appealing at all to me.  I have strong reservations with regards to nature.  Remember oil is a global commodity the price is set according the entire world demands.  Don’t be fooled.

Keeping Track Until 2012

Time to Work…

First I want to start by putting it on the table that I am not an expert on politics.  I will only give the very basic of what our 44th President, Mr. Barrack Obama, will be addressing.  Again what I write from now or if I’m even able to keep up will just be basic.  This post will always be open to everyone but not for any forms for personal attacks  (such as race, religion, gender or any dizzying negative opinions, etc).  Get your own bitch-fest blog for that!

I’m assuming Mr. Obama is already on the drawing board for his Cabinet picks so here are the basis of the administration:  Treasury, State, and Defense.

Bear in mind that if we are to start from scratch, I do not want to hear anything about Reaganomics (is dead) or Clintonomics.  The Treasury Department manages revenue such as taxes, debts, and anything financial related.  Currently headed by Henry M. Paulson Jr.  Since we are on a ‘controlled economic crash’, and on currently on denial that we are on recession, and we are on a precipice of a global economic collapse, what I do want is anyone and everyone whose been canoodling with the big barons of Wall Street and for deregulation should not have a place in the Treasury Department.

Next in replacement, The State Department currently headed by Condoleezza Rice.  The State Department will carry the bulk of the issue of foreign policies or relations.

The Department of Defense (DOD) where the bulk of any war will be discussed more particularly the current issue of the war in Iraq, war on terror (ism).  A lot still remains to be determined.  Current secretary of DOD is Robert M. Gates (he replaced Donald Rumsfeld in 2006).

I will not throw any names in the hat to avoid speculation.  But if you do, back what you know.  This is an open platform.  If I’m wrong on anything that I have said, please comment or add on.

Mr. B. Obama already picked his White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.  He’s basically the President’s senior aid.  He will manage the White House Staff’s schedule and activities and alleviate the stressful demand of the President’s duties.

It’s time to clean house.  Opinions cannot be substituted by facts.  I know many of you remains cynical.  The uphill process will not be easy and certainly will not be achieve without any flaw.  You want ‘Change’ get on board.  Stop taking and start giving.  Stop receiving and start delivering.  As a parent, I’m constantly on my children’s back rationing their time in about manners, citizenship and spiritually.  I’m looking forward to the day when change comes to fruition.

Confessions of an over caffeinated voter

This morning I had the jitters already and I haven’t had my high-octane coffee yet courtesy of Starbucks.  Between my counter arbitration to my non-believer acquaintances and casting my ballot, I’m definitely blacklisted into any flake-republican sponsored dinner party.  Oh well, they never liked the wine I bring in a sippy carton box anyways.  What a bunch of snobs!  Not to mention the “gizzard” dish I brought in on culture night.  The invitation said “authentic dish from a country of your choice” like the ring leader slaved over  “Coq Au Win” French version of the American drunk-chicken I thought my dish was by far scores high on authenticity but no one liked it.

So today I voted “Yeahbama”  as oppose to “Nobama” (I know I’m still going against the grain) I had the urge to raise my fist in the sky and do the “ocho-ocho” dance I once saw on cable – not sure either Wowwoweee or Gigante Sabado channel then I remembered I’m a member of PTA so I must act like a proper citizen and I didn’t want to risk being tased in public.  No part deux of “Don’t Tase me Bro!” with me, as the starring role and I didn’t want to be cited for “electioneering” within certain yards or feet from the voting poll.  The flake-repubs are very careful on how they represent themselves in public.  They’re so eerily put together like Cindy McCain or Dick Cheney he always looks so fresh after a good day of hunting or my acquaintance  (insert his or her name here) I had no idea until this election that he/she is so narrow minded (that’s me saying it mildly).

So thank you readers.  In which some of you are subjected to look into my cluttered noggin.  Last time I canvassed politically full force, I was in high school.  I was a registered young Democrat and no I didn’t mind licking envelopes for Dukakis.  Our headquarter was located to now replaced by Sam’s Club on a (fill in the name) Blvd.  The over-zealous, narrow-minded Repub-retards conjured up a flame within me.  You should see my e-mail transcript.

On a serious note I shall leave you with this from 1972 Lyndon B. Johnson addressing Civil Rights.

Let me remind you that history is cruel to those who wants to leave this world a better place.  Keep inspiring.

My fellow Pinoys

My fellow pinoys…in five days it’s election time.  Please do not forget, as an American citizen or a Naturalized American Citizen, your right to cast your ballot.  Take note I said ballot and not balut!  Big difference. A balut is a food we test the loyalty of our not-pinoy friends.  My fellow white friends, in case you did not know or your pinoy (Filipino) friend(s) has not let you in on this type of food it is because this type of food just ups the ante on culinary nastiness.

Psssst!  Hoy!

Please do not put “Manny Pacquiao” for president.  Even if  he’s been to Vegas and you’ve seen him box and win countless times on pay-per-view.  He is not an American citizen.

Please do not treat this election like “Dancing With The Stars” just because Cheryl ain’t dancing with either candidate, you still have to vote.  Text messaging is not a form of electoral voting.

No you cannot wish for either candidate to go in the octagon with UFC Brandon Vera and see who outlast- to much liability involve.

And no, no, no, Sarah Palin will never be in any of our beauty pageant.

Oh,sige! see you at the polls.
